As a mechanical engineer, I love hardware. Nuts, bolts, washers, you name it. I love seeing a big bin of them, shining in the assembly line lights, and my brain starts churning, thinking of all of the possibilities. Nuts were the inspiration for this necklace, but I wanted to soften them to make the piece more feminine. Nuts, thread, glass beads, and ribbon make a mechanical engineering girl's necklace. What do you think??

That's amazing - can't believe you are an engineer...here I am thinking all engineers are idiots without a creative bone in their body. I say this because I work at a huge Engineer firm lol and have to deal with them all day (I'm in marketing/comm).
